Heather Brooks Karatz is a Founding Partner of Third Space Capital with over 18 years of experience as a multifaceted business executive and investor who has uniquely held leadership positions on different sides of the sports and entertainment industries, including at leagues, teams, agencies, and media companies. 

Heather began her career as a labor attorney at the NFL and NHL and has since held several senior executive positions across business development, strategy, and operations in sports and entertainment. As a senior leader at United Talent Agency, the XFL and Los Angeles Football Club, she led many of the organizations' largest investments and strategic initiatives.

Heather received a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law.

Heather is from Great Falls, Virginia and now resides in Los Angeles with her husband Teddy, three amazing kids, and loving dog Julius. She is also a proud team owner of Angel City Football Club and SailGP Italy and very active in charitable organizations such as the Holocaust Museum Los Angeles, Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, and Women in Sports and Events.
