Paul Kagan is a Principal at Third Space Capital and has over 9 years of experience investing in companies across the growth spectrum, including through private equity, growth equity, and venture capital.

Before joining Third Space Capital, Paul was a Vice President on Investcorp’s Global Technology Investment team, where he was part of the founding team for the U.S. strategy. He oversaw two U.S.-based portfolio companies and managed the firm’s joint venture fund with United Talent Agency focused on entertainment and media. Previously, Paul was a member of Investcorp’s North American Private Equity team, where he focused on investments in consumer services, business services, and technology-enabled services.

During his MBA, Paul interned with Virgin Management, Sir Richard Branson’s family office, where he focused on consumer experiential growth investments. He began his career at Lazard in the Consumer & Retail M&A group.

Paul holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he served as President of the Goizueta Finance Group.

He is originally from Port Washington, NY and now lives in New York City with his wife, Jessica, and Pomeranian, Babka. In his free time, Paul enjoys going to Barry’s classes, playing in local volleyball leagues, and trying to find the best chocolate chip cookie in NYC.
